The Grand Chapter, Grand Council, and Grand Commandery, as well as the “Side Bodies” – The Order of the High Priesthood, The Order of the Silver Trowel, and the Past Commander’s Association, and the Knights of York Cross of Honour (KYCH) are celebrating another successful year. You are invited to join us in our transition from 2023-2024 to 2024 -2025. Below is the invitation from our Heads of Bodies that also describes the events in April, not six weeks from now. Wow, time flies.

Please accept our invitation for you and your lady to attend the 2024 New Mexico Grand York Rite Sessions. We will conduct the Annual Business of the Grand York Rite Bodies of New Mexico and enjoy the fellowship of Companions, Sir Knights and ladies from New Mexico, the Southwest Conference, and jurisdictions beyond. Our formal activities will take place at the Ballut Abyad Shrine Center, located at 6600 Zuni Road SE, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The 75th Annual Assembly of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of New Mexico will be on Thursday, April 11th. Most Illustrious Companion D. W. Winchester, Grand Master will declare the Grand Council open at 9:00am followed by the reception of distinguished members, guests, and visitors to our Grand Council. Lunch will be at 12:00pm. The remaining business session will resume at 1:00pm. Installation of the Grand Council Officers for the ensuing year will take place at 2:00pm.

Knights of York Cross of Honor, KYCH, will meet on Thursday afternoon at 3:00pm.

A Holy Land Pilgrimage Dinner will be held Thursday evening at the Ballut Abyad Shrine Center Ballroom, with all the revenues exceeding expenses generated going directly to help send ministers from New Mexico on the trip of a lifetime to the Holy Land. A Social Hour before dinner will start at 6:00pm followed by dinner at 7:00pm. Appropriate dress for the Holy Land Pilgrimage Dinner is business casual or Commandery uniform.

The 124th Annual Conclave of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of New Mexico will convene on Friday April 12th. Sir Knight James D. Lamb, Grand Commander, will reconvene the Grand Commandery at 9:00am followed by the reception of distinguished members, guests, and visitors to our Grand Commandery. Lunch will be at 12:00pm. The afternoon session to finish all remaining business will start at 1:00pm. Installation of the Grand Commandery Officers elected and appointed to serve for the ensuing year will take place at 2:00pm.

The Memorial / Vesper Service will start at 5:45p on Friday evening (just prior to the Social Hour).

On Friday evening, Social Hour will start at 6:00pm and be followed by the Grand Banquet at 7:00pm.  The appropriate dress for the Grand Banquet is a coat and tie or York Rite Uniform.

The 127th Annual Convocation of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of New Mexico will be on Saturday, April 13th. Most Excellent Companion Jeffrey A. Lee, Grand High Priest will open the Grand Chapter at 9:00am followed by the reception of distinguished members, guests, and visitors to our Grand Chapter. Lunch starts at 12:00pm. The afternoon session to finish all remaining business will start at 1:00pm. Installation of the Grand Chapter Officers for the ensuing year will take place at 2:00pm.

 The Order of the Silver Trowel (Thursday), the Past Commander’s Association (Friday), and the Order of the High Priesthood (Saturday), will be held on their respective days starting at 7:00am. All current members of each of these bodies are encouraged to attend. All who have served (or are currently serving) their respective York Rite bodies as Eminent Commander, Excellent High Priest, or Illustrious Master (respectively) are welcome to join these Side Orders.

Proxy forms for the New Mexico Dais Officers will be sent to the constituent Secretary/Recorder. If you are not able to attend and carry a vote, please execute the proxy in favor of someone who will be at the sessions. All Companions and Sir Knights attending must register. To guarantee your meal, please register by April 01, 2024.
