Masonic How To’s:

It’s Certainly Easier to Follow and Reference Rules When You Know What/Where They Are.

By: Stephen Balke

Stephen Balke Editor

After talking with officers from various lodges across the jurisdiction I have found that some of the resources provided by the Grand Lodge were not known by some of the Brethren, they just hadn’t received them, or didn’t know how to find them. Much like the Official Monitor and Ceremonies mentioned by the Most Worshipful Grand Master in his article, these are references that are useful to all of our Brethren.

As my Coach, MWB Ernie Hazelwood used to say, “We spend $1000 every year to make our rules, so why not just follow ‘em. If you don’t like it, we have a way to change it.” These are here for our use and reference and have what we, as a jurisdiction, have agreed to.

Please find what you may find are some useful resources by following the links below.

Something missing? Have a question? Check with your officers and find out! Secretary -> Master -> DDGL (especially for ritual) -> DDGM -> Grand Secretary -> Grand Master.

Don’t know how to get ahold of one of them? Register on the GrandView APP, all you need is your current dues card (for your number). CLICK HERE!

Please consider sharing what you do with all of us – it may inspire greater and more activity in Masonry in NM!

We look forward to helping you share all the things you’re doing to help Masonry and your Lodge or group grow!

Many thanks to MWB Jeff Johnson and Michele Balke. Both for review of the issue, and contribution of photography by Michele. Other photos provided by the contributors, with the exception of the photos of Brian Ragain and his books, which were provided by him.
